You're almost there...just a few
last steps before you get the keys to your brand new home. Your
Customer Service Representative will help coordinate and be available to assist you in the completion of each of these final steps to ensure that all your
questions and concerns are addressed before you close. Here's a look at what's involved:
1. Scheduling Your Closing
After hundreds of quality checks and inspections, your new home is complete. Your Customer Service Representative will contact you to schedule the date, time and location of your closing.
2. Finalizing Your Loan
A couple of days before your scheduled closing, your loan officer will forward to you the final numbers for your closing. Included in this document will be the exact amount of good or certified funds you will need to bring to the closing. Keep in mind that the title company cannot accept a personal check for these funds. , you will need to allow time to get a certified check from your bank for the title company. At the closing, your "closing" officer will review all the documents pertaining to both the closing of your loan and the of your home that you will be required to sign.
3. Taking Possession of Your New Home!
Once all documents have been signed, the closing is complete. You will be given the keys to your new home--and you can begin moving in!
